Aimed at:

Graduates who are unemployed or economically inactive. The programme focus is to help graduates get on the career ladder.

The programme is facilitated by The Department for Employment and Learning through its Steps to Work programme.

GAP involves a work placement, lasting up to 26 weeks and the completion of one of two specially developed qualifications : the Graduate Certificate in Organisation and Management (QUB); or the Graduate Certificate in Professional Practice (UU).

Participants will receive their current rate of benefit plus a training allowance.
