Young Persons Employment Initiative (YPEI) Print E-mail

 

The YPEI aims to provide those young people aged 18-24 years, who have not been in employment for the previous 12 months with an opportunity to avail of temporary waged employment lasting up to 26 weeks.

Details:

  • Provision of temporary waged employment with work experience at Belfast City Council, Newtownabbey Borough Council or Belfast Heath & Social Care Trust
  • Full time temporary employment of 26 weeks (30 hours per week)
  • Dedicated support to gain permanent employment
  • Recognized qualifications
  • Bonuses available
