Public Employment Partnership (PEP) Print E-mail

The Public Employment Partnership is a 13 week pre-employment programme that up-skills anyone unemployed with a 4 week pre employment training followed by job shadowing with Belfast Health & Social Care Trust, Belfast City Council or the Northern Ireland Housing Executive.

 

The Programme is aimed at individuals who are:

 

  • 18+
  • Unemployed and in receipt of JSA, IS, IB Severe Disablement allowance, Pension Credits, Partners of those who receive benefits or those not claiming benefits who live in North Belfast and Newtownabbey area.

  • Personalized advice and guidance to help make the right choices
  • Help to find and sustain employment
  • On the job training while remaining on benefit and an additional weekly top up allowance.
  • The opportunity to gain recognized qualifications
  • The opportunity to retrain or enhance existing skills
  • The opportunity to gain employability skills
