50+ Employment Programme Print E-mail

The programme is aimed at individuals who are:

  • 50+
  • Economically inactive for a minimum of 13 weeks
  • In receipt of benefits i.e. jobseekers allowance, Employment & Support Allowance Severe Disablement Allowance
  • Those not claiming benefit must reside in North Belfast or Newtownabbey

Details:

The 50+ Employment programme offers participants:

 

  • 6 months paid employment
  • Part time (16 hrs per week) or
  • Full time (30 hrs per week)
  • Opportunities to improve numeracy & literacy skills
  • Dedicated support to obtain permanent employment e.g. job search skills, interview techniques & CV preparation
