The Service is available to:

 

  • Benefit Recipients, including those in receipt of income Support, Incapacity
  • Benefit/Employment Support Allowance, Severe Disablement Allowance and Disability Living Allowance.
  • Out of work partners of benefit recipients
  • People who are not claiming benefits
  • Young people not linked to the benefit system
  • Ex-prisoners

Details:

The service provided is person centered, flexible and puts the needs of the participant first.  A participant can use the service on a voluntary basis at a time that suits them.  This will not affect any benefits that a participant is in receipt of.

 

An employment Adviser will provide one-to-one support and create an action plan to assist a participant in gaining employment.

 

An employment adviser will support in jobsearch by providing information, advice and help with:

 

  • Motivation
  • Self confidence
  • CV Preparation
  • Job Search Skills
  • Further Training
  • Referral to other Programmes
